The PTA plans fun events, fundraisers, assemblies and activities that bring our school community together and supports the teachers and staff. We support community-building, family events, enrichment, advocacy, open communication and feedback. All families are encouraged to participate in whatever way works for them!

Not at all! Your $10 membership fee supports NYS and National PTA resources as well as the Duffield PTA to support our school community. Only PTA members can vote on budgets, events, fundraisers, bylaws, committees, and PTA leadership roles during PTA meetings. Parents, guardians, grandparents, teachers, staff, and other community members can all join!

We welcome all members to our monthly PTA meetings that are held at 7pm (in-person or virtual) where we talk about all the things we want to do at the school to make it a fun, welcoming, memorable and engaging experience for all students. Principal Lonergan shares school updates, and members can ask questions, give feedback, and be a part of planning events and initiatives.

There are many ways to get involved, and every bit of help makes a difference. Whether you can come to a meeting to participate in conversations, help plan a fundraiser or join a committee, suggest a business to be a Community Partner and provide a donation, volunteer at an event, share an idea or help behind the scenes (even for a short time like during a lunch break), we'd love your support. Every bit of help adds up!
