Since the beginning of the school year, ENL students from Cherokee Street and Duffield elementary schools have been building connections as pen pals.

As part of their “Fundations” unit, kindergarteners in Mrs. Santoriello’s class are learning to decode words.

In honor of it being the 67th day of school on Dec. 16, Duffield’s staff pulled off an undercover 6-7 Day! Since the phrase is everywhere, staff thought it would be the perfect way to celebrate.

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Connetquot Central School District proudly hosted a series of Wellness Days throughout May, bringing students, staff and community partners.
