Dear Duffield Families,

I hope this letter finds you enjoying the summer months and creating meaningful memories with your loved ones. As I begin my second year as principal of Helen B. Duffield Elementary School, I want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude for the warm welcome and unwavering support I received throughout my first year. It has truly been an honor to serve this incredible school community.

With over twenty years of experience as an educator—and as a mother to four daughters—I remain deeply committed to ensuring that every child in our care feels safe, supported, and inspired to reach their fullest potential. The partnership between school and family is essential, and I am grateful to work alongside such dedicated parents and guardians who share in our mission.

Looking ahead, I am excited to build on the strong foundation laid by those before me and to continue our shared work of fostering a positive, nurturing, and academically enriching environment for all students. Together with our devoted staff, we will remain focused on academic growth, emotional awareness, and the values that make Duffield such a special place.
