Dear Duffield Families,

I hope this letter finds you enjoying the summer months and creating meaningful memories with your loved ones. As we begin another great year here at Helen B. Duffield Elementary School, I want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude for the partnership with our staff and families. It has truly been an honor to serve this incredible school community.

With over twenty years of experience as an educator—and as a mother to four daughters—I remain deeply committed to ensuring that every child in our care feels safe, supported, and inspired to reach their fullest potential. The partnership between school and family is essential, and I am grateful to work alongside such dedicated parents and guardians who share in our mission.

Looking ahead, we are excited to build on the new intiatives from last year and to continue our shared work of fostering a positive, nurturing, and academically enriching environment for all students. Together with our devoted staff, we will remain focused on academic growth, emotional awareness, and the values that make Duffield such a special place.

I look forward to reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new families at our upcoming events, including PTA meetings and Back-to-School Night. Your voice and involvement make a meaningful difference in our school’s success, and I welcome your insights as we enter this new year.
